VLC is a simple way to play a wide range of video and audio files on your iPhone. It is useful when a video will not open in the default player, and also gives you controls for playback speed.
What to check
- Playback is different from exporting an edited file.
- Protected media may not play.
VLC is a media player, not a video editor. You can adjust playback speed while watching, but it does not export a new file with the change. Some protected or copy-restricted media may not play due to licensing restrictions.
